BENEFIT FOR SPANISH AND EUROPEAN COMPANIES
The results of the ECODHYBAT project will allow food processing companies to reduce their consumption (and thus cost) of water, energy and chemical cleaning and disinfection agents, as well as the environmental cost of their hygienisation processes.
This will give an added value to their product. Companies in the food processing industry will be able to count on a guide to hygienic-designed certified equipment manufacturers as a result of the ECODHYBAT. As per manufacturers of food processing equipment that incorporate hygienic eco-design, the application of this project´s conclusions will allow them to incorporate an added value to their equipment. Should the conclusions of ECODHYBAT be accepted as BAT and incorporated in BREF, those manufacturers that have already incorporated the changes will have a competitive advantage in the market.
